Some church location and place data on this site is derived from OpenStreetMap, (c) OpenStreetMap contributors, and is made available under the Open Database License (ODbL) v1.0. OpenStreetMap is a collaborative project built by a community of mappers who contribute and maintain data about roads, buildings, and places all over the world.

In plain terms: a meaningful share of the church listings you see here, including names, locations, and addresses, contains information from OpenStreetMap. We show the credit "(c) OpenStreetMap contributors" in the site footer on every page and in the corner of every map, so you do not have to click anything to see it. Map tiles and map rendering, where shown, also carry their own attribution in the map corner.

The belief-match scores, the doctrine taxonomy, and the matching methodology are our own work and are not part of the OpenStreetMap data. If you reuse data from this site that came from OpenStreetMap, the ODbL applies to your reuse too: credit OpenStreetMap, not us.

Public church directories

Some listing details (name, address, contact, affiliation) come from public directories and from the churches themselves via claimed listings. See the Terms of Service for how to correct or remove a listing.

Corrections

If you believe an attribution is missing or wrong, contact us through the route in the Terms of Service (Section 18) and we will fix it.
